A new lava flow effusion started within the summit crater since early April.
Satellite images from Sentinel-2 depict a strong thermal anomaly within the Manaro Voui caldera (also called Lombenben Voui), indicating lava flows.
The activity is accompanied by strong steam-laden plumes with minor amounts of ash.
