Piton de la Fournaise volcano (La Réunion): increasing activity

The activity at the eruption site increased.

Both parameters, lava effusion and volcanic tremor, have continued to be elevated over the past 24 hours.
The height of lava fountains increased from low to mid to high levels.
The lava delta is still being fed by lava flow on the eastern coastline.
