Kilauea volcano update: 25th effusive period

The 25th lava fountaining episode began from the north vent cone at Halema’uma’u summit crater at 5:54 AM local time on June 10, 2025.

Minor spattering transitioned into vigorous and continuous spattering, generating lava flows onto the crater floor.
The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory added: „The tiltmeter at Uēkahuna (UWD) has recorded 13 microradians of inflation since the end of the last episode. Low level seismic tremor continues beneath Halemaʻumaʻu crater.“
