View of Iceland’s eruption this morning (RUV live stream)
The effusive rift eruption near Litli-Hrútur north of Fagradalsfjall volcano continues with little changes at relatively low intensity.
A small section of the original eruptive fissure remains active and produces small fountains from a growing spatter rampart and feeds a slowly increasing lava flow field.
The area is accessible via a 10 km one-way trail from the southern coastal road.
