The activity of the volcano has slowed down over the past two weeks and it seems to have shown signs of weakening.
However, in the early morning of 13 March, a short-term pulsating strombolian activity returned to the summit crater associated with a near-constant glowing (see the attached video below).
The seismic activity continued at fluctuating intensity, but remains well above generally average levels.
The Volcanic Alert Level remains at Yellow with 500 meters exclusion zone around the main crater in place.
