The Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Team (KVERT) reported that strombolian activity occurred at the volcano today.

Judging from an available webcam image, a small ash plume has been visible from the summit vent associated with a fumarolic activity. The height of the ash plume is unknown so far and was not reported by the VAAC nor the local observatory.
The volcano had remained in the calm period since late March last year when the eruptive phase ceased.
