A visible glow and continuous strong emissions of gas and water vapor suggest a continuing rise of fresh magma into the growing lava dome.

The strong eruptive episode occurred at the volcano during 14-15 March accompanied by series of intense pyroclastic flows caused by gravitational collapse of the new dome part of the existing lava dome.

A satellite image from today confirms an ongoing thermal anomaly at the lava dome.
