According to INVOLCAN, a new fissure (?) vent has actually opened south of the main cone, which has been feeding today’s new and very well alimented lava flow that quickly reached Las Manchas to the southwest.
INVOLCAN mentioned that its velocity (presumably near the vent) was 600 m per hour at 5.15 p.m.:
