La Palma (Canary Islands (Spain)): (15 Sep) The seismic crisis continues with no signs of slowing. More than 250 quakes large enough to be located were detected during the past 24 hours. Minutes ago, a magnitude 3.2 event at only 4 km depth occurred and was felt.
This quake can be seen on the seismic trace as the large green signal.

Karymsky (Kamchatka): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 12000 ft (3700 m) altitude or flight level 120 and is moving at 15 kts in S direction.

The activity at the volcano has been increasing during the past two weeks characterized by moderate-to-strong vulcanian explosions.
The volcano produced a series of strong explosions at 08:46, 08:59 and 18:20 local time today as reported by observers in social media and also Civil Protection Mexico. Ash plumes rose 3,937 ft (1,200 m) above the summit and drifted north-northwest. Blocks were ejected as far as 500 m away from the crater.
