The explosive activity of the volcano continues characterized by near-constant vulcanian-type eruptions at roughly regular intervals of 2 per day.
Ash plumes reached approximately 8,000 ft (2,500 m) altitude and drifted E.
Vulcanian activity continues from the Minamidake summit crater with lava bombs thrown at an approximate height of 1 km and 1,3 km away from the crater.
The seismic network detected 11 volcano-tectonic earthquakes over the past 5 days.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 2 km distance from the main crater.
