The Sentinel-2 satellite detected two ongoing lava flows in the upper Valle del Bove (3,100 meters elevation approx.) and in the Rocca Capra area (1,300 meters elevation approx.).
In the attached images, the first is the satellite imagery acquisition from 18 August depicting thermal anomalies of both lava flows, and the second one displays a probability of lava flow development, in which black denotes the low-probability outer envelope of the simulated field and red denotes the high-probability propagation corridors.
