Piton de la Fournaise volcano (La Réunion Island) activity update: first eruption in 2020
The eruption that started on 10 Febraury at 10:50 local time continues. The seismic station records 210 volcano-tectonic earthquakes under the summit area. The intensity of the volcanic tremor gradually decreases since the opening of the eruptive cracks.
