The Vanuatu Meteorology and Geohazards Department (VMGD) reported that seismic unrest of the volcano continues at high levels. The activity is being observed in the summit crater. Continuous emissions of gas and steam plumes occurred. Eruptions can occur with little or no warning. The danger zone for life safety is limited to on the island of Lopevi.
