INSIVUMEH observed that the lava flow in Barrancas Cenizas direction has increased in length, currently about 400 m long. Additionally recorded weak to moderate strombolian-type explosions at regular intervals of 6 to 8 per hour that generated a grey ash plume which reached approx. 14,763 ft-15,420 ft (4,500 m-4,700 m) altitude. The plumes drifted towards the south and southwest direction.
