Kuchinoerabu-jima volcano (Ryukyu Islands, Japan): continuing ash emissions

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) recorded on 17 April at 03:10 local time one eruption at Shindake crater. An ash plume reached 3,000 ft (914 m) altitude and drifted northwest.
