The explosive eruption at the volcano persists.
About 9 small-to-moderate vulcanian-sized eruptions have been detected through the local webcam over the past 3 days. In addition, the eruptive activity is also seen from space as the Sentinel-2 captured the explosion on 9 July.
Ash plumes have mostly drifted towards the north-northwest, reaching a height range of about 250-550 m above sea level.
