Mayon holds at Alert Level 3 as Kanlaon and Taal remain active in Philippines

Volcanic activity today was led by the Philippines, with eruptions ongoing at multiple peaks and continued unrest at another. Ecuador’s Reventador and Sangay also remained in eruption. Most alert levels and activity states are unchanged from the previous day.

Philippines
Eruptions persisted at Mayon (Alert Level 3), Kanlaon (Alert Level 2), and Taal (Alert Level 1). Unrest continued at Bulusan (Alert Level 1).

South America
In Ecuador, eruptions continued at Reventador (Alert Level 3 – Orange) and Sangay (Alert Level 2 – Yellow).
