The latest Sentinel-2 acquisition over the volcano on 29 August revealed (likely a continuing) effusive eruption.
The short-wave infrared composite (SWIR) detected ongoing lava flows on the western and northern flank, within the last year timelapse (see the attached animations both in the false color and SAR representation).
