A new lava flow started to emerge from the summit.

The lava continues to be active on the southern flank as seen in the latest Sentinel-2 imagery from 6 June.
The volcano continues to generate near-constant strombolian-to-vulcanian-sized explosions that have reached approx. 2 km altitude and drifted mostly to the west-southwest.
The Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 40 mm and a duration of 38 seconds.
