Kilauea volcano update: yet another magnificent fountaining episode

Another, 24rd episode started within the Halemaʻumaʻu crater floor at about 08:55 PM local time tonight and is ongoing at the of this update.
The activity in the north vent was preceded by sporadic spatter and gas pistoning on 3 June, it had gradually increased into low dome-shaped lava fountains and lava flows onto the crater floor, later on approx. 09:15 PM accelerated into spectacular fountaining.

Columns of lava jets reached a height of 325 ft (10 ft), by 10:40 PM local time have been surpassing 980 feet (300 meters).
Additionally, the fountain generated a plume that reached 16,500 feet (5,000 meters) above ground level by 10:50 PM and is increasing.
