Dofen (Ethiopia): Over the past 36 hours, earthquakes have decreased in strength and numbers. Without more up-to-date deformation data it is impossible to say whether it means that the underlying activity, supposedly an ongoing magma intrusion has slowed, or that simply intruding magma has less obstacles now after the series of violent M5+ quakes until a few days ago.
In any case, the alert should be kept high; an eruption could start any time (although by no means must).
