Spurr volcano (Alaska): Aviation Color Code raised to Yellow

Due to the continuous volcanic unrest and elevated inflation, the Aviation Color Code for the volcano has been raised to „Yellow“, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) reported.

However, there are no signs of an imminent eruption. Frequently, this type of seismic activity and ground deformation subsides without leading to an eruption.
