The effusive eruption at the site continues at stable levels.
Two main cinder cones dominate the activity.
Fresh and molten pyroclasts have been continuing to eject from edifices, resulting from continuous spattering.
Lava from the northern part of the fissure continues to maintain an active flow toward the east. Between Hagafell and Sýlingarfell, the lava flows are layering, forming lava beds near the crater. No lava movement towards the west of Grindavík has been detected.
