The explosive eruption of the volcano goes on.
Occasional grey ash plumes continue to be generated, rising approximately 100 meters above the crater toward the southwest.
The volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 2.9 mm and a duration of 45 seconds at 19:20 local time yesterday.
The alert level for the volcano remains at Level 2.
People are advised to avoid an area of about 2 km from the Laki-Laki crater, 3 km to the north-northeast, and 5 km to the northeast direction, respectively.
