Reykjanes (Reykjanes peninsula (SW Iceland)): (5 Apr) The eruption continues from two active craters and remains essentially unchanged since the last update.
The larger, northern cinder cone appears to feed most of the lava flow by layering previous lava flow beds from the eruption’s first days. Fresh and molten pyroclasts continue to eject from edifices, resulting from continuous spattering that thickens the lava flow field in their vicinity rather than its length.

Spurr (Cook Inlet, SW Alaska): (5 Apr) The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) informed that the seismic station and remote webcam (approx. 75 miles from west of Anchorage) started to receive signals from the volcano again as conditions have enhanced.
Thick winter snow accumulation hindered the transmission of seismic data from stations on the volcano to the AVO volcano observatory based in Anchorage.
