Marapi volcano (Western Sumatra, Indonesia): sporadic eruptions persist

The explosive eruption at the volcano continues.
Occasional ash emissions, triggered by vulcanian-sized eruptions, are being generated from the crater to about higher than 4 km elevation drifting east.

The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
