Earthquakes are getting less intense over the past hours-to-days
Nothing unusual has taken place over the past hours and the seismic activity remains unchanged since the last update.
Approx. small 800 earthquakes have been monitored since midnight, most of them detected in the middle part of the vertical fissure-shaped intrusion, known as dike. Quakes have been centered at depths between 3-5 km.
The ground deformation continues related to magma flux within the dike intrusion. Scientists believe that magma solidifies along edges, while being fluidly in its central path.
The strong degassing of volcanic emissions continues, but further measurements are therefore needed for confirmation.
