The volcano remains active.

At about 09:14 local time yesterday, a low-level grey-to-brown bursting of ash and gas emissions occurred at the summit vent. Emissions were confined to the crater and rose to only approx. 50 meters above the vent.
The Argentine Volcanic Surveillance Observatory (OAVV) recorded a long-period earthquake during the eruption.
