The explosive eruption at the volcano continues.
The Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) local observatory reported an eruption from the cinder cone within the caldera at 10:11 local time this morning. Vulcanian-type grey ash column rose to an altitude of 7,500 ft (2,300 m) and drifted northwest.
