The seismic crisis near the volcano has waned significantly both in magnitude and rate from the swarm peak during 9-11 March.
This change lowered the potential for the impending eruption of the volcano.
Therefore, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) decreased the Volcanic Alert Level to „Yellow“.
