
The explosive eruption at the volcano continues at roughly regular intervals.
Surveillance cameras of San Salvador’s Ministerio de Medio Ambiente are being observed ash eruptions from the summit crater. The heights of grey ash plumes are unknown as they weren’t reported by the VAAC nor the volcano observatory, but from available footage seem to rise several hundred meters above the vent.
A video of a high ash plume has been published in social media by local observers from La Cruz community (see attached video below).
