Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland): Magnús Tumi Guðmundsson, a professor of geophysics, says that the new eruption is likely five-to-ten bigger than the previous eruption, but not the big one.
The new eruption poses no imminent threat to inhabitants and infrastructure as the site is far enough from the closest infrastructure. From the nearby morphology, it seems the lava flow will flow likely into Meradalir valley on the east-southeast or towards the north.

…3 Aug:
Scientists already published the exact location of the new eruption site.
The eruptive fissure is located approx. 3 km north of Langihryggur with an approx. length of 360 meters.
Fountaining continues along the full-length fissure, feeding a new lava flow field that sometimes overlaps (in the south part of the fissure) the lava flow field from the previous eruption.
…3 Aug:
The eruption continues at modest intensity (although it is likely to gradually increase), as a typical fissure eruption with lava fountains forming a „curtain of fire“ along an approx. 100 m long fissure that opened today at around 1.36 p.m. A sheet-like lava flow is slowly spreading on both sides of the fissure.

You can watch it live via the webcam of mbl.is on Youtube:

…3 Aug:
A new eruption started.
From available live webcams (link here), a new eruptive fissure opened at about 13:26 local time today. Pulsating small lava fountains are seen from the fissure.

Grímsvötn (Iceland): (2 Aug) The Icelandic Meteorological Office raised the alert level for the volcano to „yellow“, as an elevated seismic activity has been registered this afternoon.
Several quakes were recorded with magnitudes of 1 or more, of which 1 have been located with a maximum magnitude of 3.6 that occurred at 14:24 local time.

Krísuvík (Southwestern Iceland): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center London (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTION STARTED AT 1330Z OBS VA DTG:03/1338Z

Karymsky (Kamchatka): (3 Aug) The eruptive activity of the volcano continues at moderate levels with sporadic powerful explosions as occurred at 21:44 local time yesterday.
A spectacular vulcanian eruption produced a dense grey ash plume, which reached approx. 17,000 ft (5,200 m) altitude and drifted about 12 km to the S-SW of the volcano.

Shiveluch (Kamchatka): The extrusive eruption at the volcano continues at high levels.
Hot, viscous magma continues to rise into the actively growing lava dome and piles up the material prone to collapse into glowing dome blocks and avalanches.
Ash plumes (so-called phoenix clouds) separating from avalanches reach up to approx. 15,000 ft (4,600 m) altitude as it descends the slope.

Ebeko (Paramushir Island): (3 Aug) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTION AT 20220803/0322Z FL140 EXTD E REPORTED OBS VA DTG:03/0320Z

Taal (Luzon, Philippines): A strong degassing at the Main Crater Lake has been observed over the past three days.
The local observatory’s surveillance cameras detected gas-steam abundant plumes rising from the crater lake which rose 2,4 km above it.

…3 Aug:
The local observatory reported that the lava flow decreased its advance and is no longer active towards the Ceniza chute.
Weak-to-moderate vulcanian-type explosions continue to take place at regular intervals of 4 to 7 per hour generating 1,1 km-1,3 km high ash plumes that extended about 15 km to the west-southwest of the volcano.
