The activity of the volcano continues at moderate levels dominated by strombolian eruptions from the summit vent with the lava flow involved.

A spectacular time-lapse video revealed by the PVMBG observatory shows intermittent, discrete explosive bursts, ejecting scoria pyroclasts a few tens of meters into the air along with glowing rockfalls of the lava flow generating small incandescent avalanches.
