The effusive-explosive eruption at the volcano continues at moderate levels.
The lava flow continues to be active on the northern slopes.
Strombolian-type eruption occurred from its crater at 22:35 local time today accompanied by ejected scoria to several hundred meters distance from the summit. The height of an ash plume was reported neither the local observatory nor the VAAC Darwin yet.
The local volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 34 mm and a duration of 61 seconds.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs and pyroclastic flows and lahars could affect an area of about 3 km distance from the main crater.
