Today’s eruption generated ash up to 5,3 km height (image: PVMBG)
The volcano continues to erupt strong explosions over the past three weeks.
An above-average eruption took place from its crater at 11:16 local time today. A plume of ash reached up to 17,390 ft (5,300 m) altitude spreading west.
The PVMBG volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 30 mm and a duration of 184 seconds.
