The activity at the volcano continues at reduced levels since early May.

The decreasing trend of the volcanic tremor continued at moderate values over the last week.

The current Crater Lake (Te Wai ā-moe) temperature is steady at 30 °C and has been varied around 30 °C-31 °C, hinting a delicate equilibrium between incoming and consumption of heat entering the lake.

SO2 and CO2 emissions remain elevated which continue to emit from the shallow magma level indicating the increased level of unrest.

The Volcanic Alert Level remains at Level 2. The Aviation Colour Code remains at Yellow.
