The GNS volcano observatory reported that the decreasing volcanic tremor still remains at high values in a combination with changing calm periods at the volcano.

The Crater Lake (Te Wai ā-moe) temperature has decreased to 30 °C today from previous 37 °C due to the heavy rainfall last week and has returned to the origin pre-rainfall level.

SO2 and CO2 emissions remain elevated which continue to emit from the shallow magma level indicating the increased level of unrest.
The Volcanic Alert Level remains at Level 2. The Aviation Colour Code remains at Yellow.
