Pavlof Volcano (Alaska): activity update – Volcanic tremor and unrest continues

Activity at Pavlof has continued at a low level with possible lava effusion visible on satellite images and elevated surface temperatures, a continuous volcanic tremor and active seismicity remain consistent. Effusive action has continued but no explosive activity within the past day, the possibility of low-level ash emissions and small explosions at the summit are still a possibility that makes the summit particularly dangerous.
