Etna (Sicily, Italy): (5 Feb) The volcano observatory in Catania (INGV) reported that strombolian activity at the volcano has ended for now.
The volcanic tremor continues at low levels as seismic signals are detected in the area between central craters and SE crater.

Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSIONS TO FL070 EXT E EST VA DTG:05/1840Z
…5 Feb:
The volcano’s tendency to produce short-lived phreatic events in series at roughly regular intervals continues.
Grey-to-black dense ash columns rose to estimated 2-2,3 km altitude and drifted E-NE yesterday afternoon and this morning. An incandescent material is well visible at night or dawn when erupting as sending glowing lapilli and lava bombs to the flanks.

Aoba (Vanuatu): The volcanic-seismic unrest at the volcano continues.
Recent observations of Vanuatu Meteorology and Geohazards Department (VMGD) from 5 February confirm moderate ash emissions mixed with gas and steam plumes heading towards the S-SE of the volcano.

Pavlof (Alaska Peninsula, USA): (5 Feb) The effusive activity at the volcano, dominated by the active lava flow on the eastern slope, continues.
The lava spilled out from the southeastern vent descending the east flank about 1 km distance and branched off into one arm today.

Santiaguito (Guatemala): The extrusive eruption at the volcano continues at high levels.
Merapi-type pyroclastic density currents continue to descend over the western and northwestern slopes of the Caliente dome up to the base of the edifice over the past few days. Collapsing parts of currents triggered moderate-to-strong avalanches at about 1-3 km distance from the summit that lifted 600-800 m high ash plumes (so-called phoenix clouds). Block-and-ash flows are associated with gravitational collapse of lava domes and flows. Volcanic ash is dispersed towards the west and northwest and caused light-to-moderate ash fall in San Martin Sacatepéquez, Llanos del Pinal and Quetzaltenango.

Fuego (Guatemala): Mild explosive activity continues from the volcano. The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington reported intermittent emissions of volcanic ash plumes.
The full report is as follows: sporadic emissions of volcanic ash

Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 23000 ft (7000 m) altitude or flight level 230 .
The full report is as follows: VA EMS OBSD to 23000 ft (7000 m)

Sangay (Ecuador): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 21000 ft (6400 m) altitude or flight level 210 and is moving at 10 kts in S direction.
The full report is as follows: VA EMS AND CLDS OBSD to 21000 ft (6400 m)

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 25000 ft (7600 m) altitude or flight level 250 .
The full report is as follows: SPORADIC EMISSIONS to 25000 ft (7600 m)

Nevados de Chillán (Central Chile): The explosive eruption of the volcano continues without significant changes in the activity.
Vulcanian activity at the summit crater has been mostly mild only over the past few days, but near-frequent in the intensity of explosions with ash plumes rising to estimated altitude of 4 km.
