La Palma (Canary Islands (Spain)): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Toulouse (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTION AT 20210919/1410Z ASH EMISSION ONGOING OBS VA DTG:27/0900Z
…27 Oct:
The Rapid Mapping Team of the Copernicus project released the 34th update on the map of the area covered by new lava, totaling now 908.2 hectares as of 26 October at 07:08 UTC.
The good news is that the larger the lava field is, the more likely it is that new lava will rather be added on top of it instead of covering new areas. In fact, the activity at the sides of the lava flow field has slowed down; only about 1.9 hectares were covered by new lava flows and no new buildings damaged during a 24 hours interval.
…27 Oct:
The activity at the vents has strongly increased this morning. Tall lava fountains, reported up to 600 m tall, rise from the main vent, while others produce dense ash and lava spattering. Lava can also be seen flowing on the surface away from the cone.

Karymsky (Kamchatka): (27 Oct) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: VA IS NOT IDENTIFIABLE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY.

Sarychev Peak (Central Kuriles): Recent satellite imagery shows a hot spot and gas plume from the volcano’s summit crater. This suggests that there has been at least weak activity recently.

Suwanose-jima (Ryukyu Islands): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Tokyo (VAAC) issued the following report: ERUPTED AT 20211027/1715Z OVER FL060 EXTD S OBS VA DTG:27/1710Z

Lewotolo (Lesser Sunda Islands): (27 Oct) Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 8000 ft (2400 m) altitude or flight level 080 and is moving at 10 kts in SW direction.
The full report is as follows: DISCRETE ERUPTION WITH VA TO FL080 OBS VA DTG:27/0420Z to 8000 ft (2400 m)

Krakatau (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): An eruption occurred from the active crater yesterday. The event was likely a phreatic explosion, i.e. steam driven only, caused by overheated water flashing to steam. It generated an ash- and steam column that rose to 1,500 m and rifted east.
The volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 45 mm and a duration of 45 seconds. During the past weeks, there have been no particular signs of unusual activity and relatively few quakes at the volcano (only about 6 daily quakes on average), which is why the explosion came as a surprise.

Popocatépetl (Central Mexico): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 18000 ft (5500 m) altitude or flight level 180 .
The full report is as follows: CONS VA EMS OBSD to 18000 ft (5500 m)

Fuego (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 16000 ft (4900 m) altitude or flight level 160 .
The full report is as follows: CONS VA EMS OBSD to 16000 ft (4900 m)

Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 19000 ft (5800 m) altitude or flight level 190 .
The full report is as follows: VA EMS OBSD to 19000 ft (5800 m)

Reventador (Ecuador): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington (VAAC) issued the following report: NO VA EMS OBSD IN SAT

Sabancaya (Peru): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Buenos Aires warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 24000 ft (7300 m) altitude or flight level 240 and is moving at 15 kts in N direction.
The full report is as follows: INTERMITTENT EMISSIONS to 24000 ft (7300 m)
