The Alaska Volcano Observatory lowered the Aviation Color Code and Alert Level to „green“, as the elevated seismic activity started to decrease gradually during the past few days and returned to background levels.
On 10 August, the volcano observatory recorded the increased seismic activity associated with earthquakes located 7 km southwest of the Korovin volcano at depths between 3 and 6 km.
