
The activity of the volcano continues to be elevated.
An elevated volcanic tremor has been recorded that started to rise gradually at the end of May. During 30 June-2 July elevated tremor continued to be active while a volume of water in the crater lake decreased significantly.
A night-time incandescence continues to be active from the crater, also identified in satellite data from 2 July.
In addition, gas and steam emissions with small amount of ash have increased and continue at the summit vent. Ash deposits on the SE and E-NE slopes of the volcano are visible in the satellite imagery from 2 July.
The Volcanic Alert Level remains at Green.
