The activity of the volcano continues at moderate levels and has remained essentially unchanged.

The volcano produces frequent weak-to-strong vulcanian-type eruptions. Ash plumes reached 14,700 ft-15700 ft (4,500 m-4,800 m) altitude and dispersed towards the W.

Scoria is ejected to an approximate height of 100 meters above the crater and caused moderate to strong avalanches of material towards Seca, Ceniza, Taniluya, Trinidad, Las Lajas and Honda ravines.

Near-constant incandescence continues to be observed from the summit crater.
