Asama volcano (Honshu, Japan): Volcanic Alert Level lowered to Level 1

The alert level for the volcano was lowered to Level 1, as a low-level activity continues.
The increasing trend of the volcano that started at the end of June last year, has decreased during the past few months.

An eruption could occur with no warning.
The warning bulletin states that ballistic impacts of volcanic bombs could affect an area of about 500 m distance from the main crater.
