Popocatépetl volcano (Mexico): near-constant ash emissions

Explosive eruption of the volcano continues at moderate levels. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington recorded continuous explosive activity with near-constant ash emissions that reached 20,000 ft (6,100 m) altitude and drifted N direction. CENAPRED recorded 103 emissions of steam, gases and small amounts of ash. Seismic instruments detected 576 minutes of low to moderate tremor.
