The subterminal lava continues to keep the flow active on the western-southwestern flank of the volcano, currently at altitude of 1950 meters. As it advances, it already has destroyed first trees near „Altomontana“ Forest Service Road.
Simultaneously, vigorous strombolian explosions take place from the Southeast Crater.
