Kilauea volcano update: Lava cascades started to fill Nāpau Crater floor after overflowing its northwestern rim

The effusive eruption at the volcano continues.
Lava fountains, generating from the fissure vent on the hill above Napau Crater, sent lava towards the northwestern part of the crater.
Since yesterday, the lava has started to pour over the cliff to create lava falls that layer the Nāpau Crater floor.
