A new series of satellite imagery of the effusive eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula has been processed.
The latest Sentinel-2 acquisition from 26 August portrays a relatively cloud-free image of the eruption site.
The lava flow occupies mostly the northwestern part of the fissure, concentrated in two main lava flow streams.
