Shiveluch volcano (Kamchatka): explosive phase likely ceased, extrusions continue at two lava dome centers

The explosive period at the volcano likely halted.
Nevertheless, the extrusive activity continues from two sites — the ‚300-Year-Old RAS‘ and the ‚New‘ lava domes — located near the Karan lava dome.
The ash plume has reached a height of approximately 1,900 meters and has extended about 2,400 kilometers to the east of the volcano (19:20 UTC, 18 August).
