The eruptive activity of the volcano persists.
On April 30th, the weather cleared up, leading to the opening of the Karan area, showing a gas-steam column with a height of approx. 2 kilometres above the Karan dome.
On 24 April, the elevated seismic activity began to occur at the volcano. Seismic networks at Sorokina and Baydarnaya detected an increased number of earthquakes beneath the Karan dome area. The activity gradually intensified in the night, from 24 to 25 April.
